No sugary products allowed
Refined carbohydrates and sugar are responsible for much of the poor health and weight gain, but because they’re so addictive and exist in so many processed foods, many people have a difficulties to avoid them.
Refined sugar contains no nutrients, no fibre, no proteins, no enzymes. Refined sugar is often referred to as empty calories because the missing nutrients that are needed for their digestion are pulled from the body instead.
Sugar is our primary source of energy, and when consumed, it can be converted to glycogen and stored as reserve in our body. Many people consume an excessive amount of carbohydrates that significantly exceeds their storage capacity for glycogen, and when this happens, the sugar resulting from carbohydrate digestion is stored as body fat.
The large amount of sugar and refined carbohydrates that exist in processed food is the primary reason for this excess and the people who consume it on a regular basis are often significantly overweight.
Minimizing the consumption of sugar and refined carbohydrates is truly one of the easiest ways to lose weight, but many people are unwilling to give up processed foods and choose to compromise their health.
You must reduce sugary products from your diet. You need to assess how important sugar is to you in your daily diet. If you eat a lot, then clearly you should reduce our intake to reasonable levels. You can do this by switching to foods containing natural sugar. By eating natural whole foods such as meat, fruit and vegetables, you’ll be supporting your health and eliminating sugar and refined carbohydrates at the same time.
However, if you insist on eating sugary products, you should make a point of checking food labels and choosing brands with lower sugar content.
Sugary products rob your body of energy and health, but because of sugar’s addictive nature, many people have a difficult time eliminating it from their diet despite the damage it can cause. But you must make an extra effort and reduce sugary products to minimum. Cutting the unnecessary, empty, calories of sugary foods from your diet is a right way to move toward your weight loss goal. Add an extra half hour of physical activity a day – a morning walk, a game of tennis, and you can expect easily to lose some pound until you reach your desired weight. You will be satisfied with yourself and feel much healthier.
